Here are recipes that I make at home all of the time. They are both easy to prepare, taste great and will be sure to impress!
Walleye Encrusted with Parmesan (that sounds good and fancy, right?) This is easy and good, I’m sure that you’ll be a huge success and a smashing hit!Items you’ll need 1 square baking dish 2 or 3 walleye filets Mayonnaise Fresh parmesan cheese Pinch of dill (or not, some people don’t like dill and it tastes great without it too) That’s it! How easy is that, huh? Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Layer your fish filets in the glass dish. With a spoon, carefully and evenly spread mayonnaise over the top of the fish, making sure you cover it all. Now, be sure not to use too much mayonnaise, just a thin layer that covers it all. Next, sprinkle the parmesan cheese on the fish. Be very careful and try to keep it on the fish and spread it evenly. Lightly sprinkle the dill weed on top if you like. It’s ready to go! Place in the oven and cook for 30-35 minutes. When the fish turns white and looks flakey (secret to knowing when fish is done) turn the oven on broil and brown the cheese. BE CAREFUL!!! It will burn in the blink of an eye! It only takes a minute or 2 at the most to get it brown and crusty. Remove and serve and viola! You are a chef in the making, a future gourmet, a…..ok, let’s not get carried overboard. But believe me when I say, whoever you cook these for will love it and so will you!!! AND, you caught dinner yourself? How nice is that? |
